Oilfield Connections

Our machine shop is capable of machining the following connections at our Malongo facility.

• Rotary Shoulder Connections on Drill Pipe, Drill Collar, Tools & Stabilzers
• Casing Threads & Tubing, RD or Buttress
• Manufacture of Subs

Algoa keeps a stock of certified Drill Collar materials and other specialized Steel Stock on site. However for highly specialized requirements advance warning is required. For this reason Algoa has recognised methods of supply from Europe, South Africa and the United States.

OCTG Premium Connections

In addition to the more conventional connections that Algoa can machine at it's Malongo facility, the company is also licensed to machine the following OCTG Premium connections.

• Hunting Interlock

Algoa is subjected to regular audits by the licensor of the various OCTG Premium connctions which the company is licensed to machine.

Materials Preparation

Algoa's Malongo workshop contains specialized CNC cutting equipment which can be used for the preparation of materials for the fabrication department or for the manufacture of specialized tools for the varied needs of the many drilling and fabrication companies operating onshore and offshore Cabinda, Angola.
